Midway through this week’s broadcast of SmackDown, The Boss made a triumphant return to WWE. She saved Bianca Belair from a severe attack by Carmella and Zelina Vega, giving the impression that she would return to the organization as a babyface.
Later in the night, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair would team up in order to face Carmella and Zelina Vega in the main event.
The contest was quite straightforward, with Banks and Belair emerging victorious. What happened during the post-match celebrations, however, made Sasha Banks’ intentions crystal plain.
Bianca Belair would be attacked by The Boss, who would declare that she only wants the SmackDown Women’s Championship and that she wants it back from The EST.
All of this indicates to a possible SummerSlam match between the two superstars. Something the WWE Universe will undoubtedly appreciate. It was fantastic to see Banks return, and even better to see how WWE has scheduled the rematch.
