Anderlecht may be missing young Belgian centre-back Hannes Delcroix due to injury, while midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga is allegedly close to signing a contract with Arsenal. There are no reported difficulties aside from that, and manager Vincent Kompany should have a fully fit squad at his disposal.

No one was hurt.

Hannes Delcroix is sceptical.

No one has been suspended.

AjaxAjax, on the other hand, will be without a few players. Argentina’s left-back Nicolas Tagliafico and centre-back Lisandro Martinez were members of the team that won the Copa America 2021, but they will be unavailable. Edson Alvarez, a midfielder, and Sean Klaiber, a right-back, have been named to the Mexico and Suriname Gold Cup squads, respectively, while striker Antony has been named to the Brazil Olympic squad.

The availability of goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg, centre-backs Daley Blind and Jurrien Timber, and midfielders Davy Klaassen and Ryan Gravenberch, who were all part of the Netherlands squad for the Euros, is unknown. Andre Onana, the goalkeeper, has been suspended.

Ajax vs. Anderlecht Prediction
Anderlecht have already signed midfielders Sergio Gomez and Lior Refaelov, as well as centre-backs Wesley Hoedt and Taylor Harwood-Bellis, during the transfer window. Last season, they finished third in the regular season.

Ajax, on the other hand, is without key players. They do, however, have players like Dusan Tadic and Sebastien Haller who can dominate games on their own. After being linked with AC Milan recently, Tadic appears to be on the verge of signing a new contract.

Ajax should be able to come out on top here.

Anderlecht 0-2 Ajax is my prediction.
