Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia, and Emerson Royal have all joined the Catalan giants.
The club’s contract with Lionel Messi expired at the start of the month, but they are hoping to renew it.
Despite the additions to their roster, Barcelona has been unable to register any of them.
Barcelona, according to Goal, is over the salary cap and hence unable to sign Aguero, Depay, Garcia, Emerson, and Messi.
Despite having already sold Konrad de la Fuente, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Junior Firpo, Barca still has to cut their pay expenditure by €200,000.
Their salary bill is a major one, but it isn’t Barcelona’s only difficulty right now.
