Barcelona is unable to register Lionel Messi, Memphis Depay, and Sergio Aguero, according to a report.

Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia, and Emerson Royal have all joined the Catalan giants.

The club’s contract with Lionel Messi expired at the start of the month, but they are hoping to renew it.

Despite the additions to their roster, Barcelona has been unable to register any of them.

Sergio Aguero signed for Barcelona earlier this summer

Barcelona, according to Goal, is over the salary cap and hence unable to sign Aguero, Depay, Garcia, Emerson, and Messi.

Despite having already sold Konrad de la Fuente, Jean-Clair Todibo, and Junior Firpo, Barca still has to cut their pay expenditure by €200,000.

Their salary bill is a major one, but it isn’t Barcelona’s only difficulty right now.

Matheus Fernandes’ contract with Barcelona has been canceled just one year after he joined the club.

The Brazilian, who cost €10 million and only played 17 minutes for Blaugrana, has announced that he will sue the club for wrongful dismissal.

CONTRACTS WILL NOT BE RESCINDED BY SAMUEL UMTITI AND MIRALEM PJANIC.
To cut their monthly output, Barcelona are trying to sell three more prominent names: Samuel Umtiti, Philippe Coutinho, and Miralem Pjani.

Umtiti and Pjanic, on the other hand, are not being pursued by any teams.

Barca has been attempting to cancel the duo’s contracts due to a lack of interest in them. Both have said no.

Barcelona is also having trouble finding buyers for Coutinho, who earns a ‘astronomical’ €14 million each year.

BARCELONA IS IN EXTREME DEBT.
Barca is also in debt to the tune of €1.173 billion, according to Goal. A total of €323 million in transfers is owed.

Barcelona is currently in a state of disarray. It’s no surprise that they wanted to play in a European Super League and still do.

It remains to be seen if they will be able to solve these issues by the end of the summer.
