Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are currently negotiating a trade deal including Antoine Griezmann and Saul. The Blaugrana, though, appear to be dissatisfied with merely the Spaniard and have urged Los Rojiblancos to include another player in the trade.

Meanwhile, more players are anticipated to leave Barcelona this summer as the club attempts to decrease its hefty pay cost.

With that in mind, here are the most recent transfer rumors involving Barcelona on July 15th, 2021.

Barcelona is reportedly hesitating on a planned swap deal involving Antoine Griezmann and Saul with Atletico Madrid. The Catalan giants have requested that Los Rojiblancos include an extra player or a transfer money in order to complete the transaction.

According to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, Barcelona wants €15 million or one of Mario Hermoso or Renan Lodi as part of the transaction.

Atletico Madrid are apparently willing to let Saul depart this summer, but whether they will accept Barcelona’s demands remains to be seen.

Miralem Pjanic has reportedly been ordered by Barcelona to find a new club. The Bosnian joined the club last summer, but he is no longer in Ronald Koeman’s plans for the future.

According to SPORT, Roma, Juventus, and Inter Milan are all interested in signing Pjanic but will require the midfielder to take a pay reduction. The player, on the other hand, is adamantly opposed to doing so.

Barcelona is keen to remove Pjanic off their payroll because he is one of the club’s greatest earners.

Barcelona are allegedly close to reaching an agreement with Martin Braithwaite to part ways. Following the additions of Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay, the striker has slid down the pecking order at the club.

Barcelona wants €15 million for the Danish forward this summer, according to SPORT, with West Ham, Norwich City, and Brighton also keen.

Barcelona expects Braithwaite to leave for the Premier League soon, with conversations now underway with all three clubs.
