Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PlayStation Store, with a PS4-specific caution.

Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PlayStation Store, but it comes with a PS4 caution. Everything you need to know about the game’s return is right here.

After being deleted from the Sony PlayStation Store for nearly six months, Cyberpunk 2077 is now available again. However, it has returned with a PS4-specific warning.

“While we continue to enhance stability across all platforms, users may continue to experience occasional performance issues with the PS4 edition,” CD Projekt Red said. “On PlayStation, the PS4 Pro and PS5 editions of the game will give the greatest experience,” it added.

“IMPORTANT NOTICE: Users continue to suffer performance issues with this game,” Sony writes on the PlayStation Store. It is not suggested to purchase for usage on PS4 systems. Play on PS4 Pro and PS5 systems for the greatest Cyberpunk experience on PlayStation.”

Remember that Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December and had major technical troubles on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. Apart from the primary concerns, the game had several bugs and malfunctions that affected all platforms. Microsoft included a warning label to its Xbox shop at the time, but Sony pulled the game entirely from its PlayStation Store. The PS4’s physical disc editions were still available.

CD Projekt Red has been working hard to fix all of the flaws that have plagued Cyberpunk 2077 since its initial release. However, there is still a lot of work to be done, particularly on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.

In addition, the business has announced that in the second half of 2021, it would provide a free next-gen upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077, with more fixes planned throughout the year.
