Deepak Chahar confirmed the news in an Instagram post that the Indian contingent has arrived in India. After winning the ODI portion of the tour against Sri Lanka and then losing the T20Is, India had a mixed tour.
After Krunal Pandya tested positive for the coronavirus and his close contacts were ruled out of the second and third T20Is, India selected a relatively inexperienced lineup in the ultra-format, which contributed to their loss.
Deepak Chahar captioned the photo, “Walk back home.” It shows Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Chahar entering the arrivals section without masks.
Deepak Chahar’s victory over Sri Lanka
Against the island nation, Chahar was one of the standout players. He took four wickets in three One-Day Internationals and also played the innings of his life, an unbeaten 69 in the second ODI at No.8.
In the T20I leg of the tour, he only played one game and took two wickets.
Deepak Chahar has demonstrated that he can bat with the best of them. He’ll be in fine shape for the ICC T20 World Cup if he can play a few more convincing innings.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star has been in excellent form with the ball and will be hoping to keep it up. He received plaudits from cricketers all over the world for his innings in the second ODI.
Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria praised Chahar’s innings on his YouTube channel and advised Pakistan’s batsmen to learn from him. He stated, “
“Deepak Chahar deserves full credit. He should be a role model for Pakistan’s batsmen. Deepak Chahar was able to keep the game going to the very finish. He stood at the wicket, rotated the strike deftly, and snatched the occasional boundary. At the end, Chahar had that crucial partnership with Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Even though Kumar only received a 19 on the day, he was as excellent as a 50.”
