For unauthorized programs, Krafton has permanently banned 1,98,194 BGMI accounts

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has quickly established itself as one of India’s most popular games. In a short amount of time, this game has received over 50 million downloads.

Despite its success, the game must cope with the issue of hackers who disrupt people’s gaming experiences and jeopardize the game’s integrity. In response to this issue, BGMI has implemented its own anti-cheat system, which identifies and punishes cheaters.

Weekly reports about banned accounts are also released by officials, and four reports have been released so far. Krafton released their fifth report on cheater sanctions yesterday.

For utilizing cheats, Krafton has banned around two lakh BGMI accounts.

Based on the latest report, which covers the week of September 27 to October 2, the BGMI developers have banned 198,194 accounts for using illegal software. It’s roughly around the same number of accounts that were banned in the previous week. In the anti-cheating report, Krafton banned more than 3 lakh BGMI accounts. Up until now, the developers have banned a total of more than one million accounts for cheating.

Krafton noted in a recent article that they have a 24-hour security system in place to detect and blacklist cheats. Officials also look into and sanction illicit programs that are promoted on sites like Youtube and others.

Finally, they urged players to report any channels that promote or market illicit content.
