Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham Hotspur is hinted at by Jose Mourinho.

Despite strong interest from Manchester City and Manchester United, Jose Mourinho claims that England captain Harry Kane will not move Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Mourinho suggested on TalkSPORT that, despite Harry Kane’s wish to leave Tottenham after Euro 2020, Daniel Levy’s will would prevail and force Harry Kane to stay at Spurs. Mourinho stated, “

“Signing a new contract, I don’t know. I would say that [Kane staying] probably is what is going to happen. I don’t see Mr Levy with the desire to sell him. Of course Harry was very clear before the Euros but I don’t see Levy open for that, but only they know.”

Jose Mourinho is well-versed with Tottenham Hotspur and Daniel Levy. Levy fired the Portuguese manager barely a week before Spurs’ Carabao Cup final against Man City.

With Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane had one of his best seasons. In all competitions, the 27-year-old attacker made 50 goal contributions, including 33 goals and 17 assists. However, Kane has voiced his intention to quit Tottenham Hotspur before the start of Euro 2020 due to a lack of trophy.

Harry Kane’s popularity is at an all-time high. To entice the England captain away from Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City is reportedly contemplating a £100 million initial bid. Manchester United, City’s main rival, has also expressed interest in signing the 27-year-old.
