Lionel Messi’s stunning assist in Argentina’s 4-1 win over Bolivia at the Copa America

Argentina’s Copa America group stage campaign in 2021 came to a close with a win over Bolivia.

La Albiceleste won 4-1 at the Arena Pantanal in the early hours of Tuesday morning UK time to take first place in Group A.

They will now play Ecuador in the Copa America quarterfinals.

On his 148th appearance for the Argentine national team, hero Lionel Messi was unsurprisingly the star of the show against Bolivia.

Messi now has the most caps in Argentina’s history, and he celebrated another another remarkable achievement in style.

During his most recent masterclass, the Barcelona great scored twice, one from the penalty spot and the other following a fantastic through pass from Sergio Aguero.

Messi’s lobbed finish over Bolivia’s goalkeeper was breathtaking.
