Mithali Raj, India’s women’s captain, recently revealed how she broke her toss-losing streak during the third One-Day International against England Women in Worcester.
Mithali Raj and experienced fast bowler Jhulan Goswami spoke about how India ultimately won the toss in a video posted on Twitter by BCCI Women.
Mithali Raj had lost all of the coin tosses before the third and final ODI of the series, including the one-off Test match in Bristol. The video was captioned by BCCI as follows:

With the 3rd ODI postponed owing to weather, the Indian women’s cricket team held a fun toss session. Mithali Raj only got two correct calls out of ten possibilities, while Priya Punia and Jhulan Goswami got the most correct calls.
The session went well, as Mithali won the toss against Heather Knight, and India went on to win their first match of the tour.
Mithali Raj has reclaimed the top spot in the ICC rankings.
Following her continuous performance in the ODI series against England Women, the seasoned hitter has reclaimed her top spot in the ICC ODI rankings for batters.

Despite the fact that India Women lost the series 1-2, Mithali Raj scored a half-century in each match. In the first two ODIs, she scored 72 and 59 runs, respectively, before leading India to a four-wicket victory in the third ODI with an unbeaten 75-run knock.
Mithali Raj also passed Charlotte Edwards, the former England captain, to become the top run-scorer in women’s international cricket.
