Open Qualifiers for the Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall: 42 teams proceed to the Closed Qualifiers.

On August 23, Garena completed its Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Fall Open Qualifiers. It has officially announced the top 42 teams that will compete in the Closed Qualifiers. All of the selected teams will be contacted immediately via in-game mailing and given further instructions, according to Garena. In-game messages must be responded to within 48 hours. The slot will be forfeited if they do not answer, and the next best eligible team will be contacted.

The following 50 teams have also been shortlisted for the waitlist, according to Garena’s release. If a team fails to respond, the corporation will contact them. The player “FUNGAMER.11” from team Jaanu was also discovered to be cheating by the in-game anti-hack system, and has been banned, along with the squad’s disqualification from FFIC 2021 Fall. The next best team was then given the berth.

The in-game letter does not guarantee a seat in the FFIC 2021 Fall Closed Qualifiers, according to Garena. Teams will need to double-check the information on the application form to ensure their spot.

Details on closed qualifiers
The Closed Qualifiers, which will last two days, will include 48 teams (42 qualifying, 6 invited) (September 1 and September 2). Following the completion of the Closed Qualifiers, the top 12 teams will advance to the league stages.

The Free Fire India Series 2021 has a total prize fund of Rs 75,00,000.
