On Thursday, Corinthians will face Sao Paulo in the Neo Quimica Arena in Brazil’s Serie A, with both teams having had slow starts to their seasons.
Corinthians are now in 11th place in the league, and a win on Thursday might push them into the top five.
Sylvinho’s team has struggled recently, winning only one of their last six games in all competitions. When the Timao take on a struggling Sao Paulo side, they will be hoping to turn things around.
This season, Sao Paulo has been abysmal, having yet to win a league game. Hernan Crespo’s team is currently 17th in the table, and it appears like they will be fighting for their lives this season.
The Soberano are only two points off the bottom of the table and will need to win on Thursday to salvage their season.
