PSG has reportedly piqued the interest of Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo as a result of their savvy transfer dealings this summer. In recent weeks, the Portuguese star’s future at Juventus has been called into question.

PSG’s new concept and transfer strategy have piqued Cristiano Ronaldo’s interest, according to Foot Mercato. This summer, the 36-year-contract old’s with Juventus expires after just one year, and he could be sold by the Italian club.

Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, and Acrhaf Hakimi were all recently signed by PSG. In the next weeks, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are also close to signing Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus has been linked with a move away from Turin this summer. Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Juventus bought Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid on a four-year contract worth £100 million in 2018, hoping that the striker would be able to help them win the Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo, on the other hand, has failed to guide Juventus past the Champions League quarter-final stage. Juventus are keen to cut their losses this summer, despite the former Manchester United man scoring 36 goals in 44 appearances for the club last season.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s annual salary of €29 million is proving to be a huge financial strain on the club. Instead of risking losing Cristiano Ronaldo on a free transfer next year, Juventus would rather sell him this summer.

PSG is trying to rebound from a season in which they finished second in Ligue 1 and were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester City in the semi-finals.

The club have already signed the likes of Ramos, Wijnaldum and Hakimi, and seem to be heading in the right direction under Mauricio Pochettino. The presence of former Real Madrid team-mates Sergio Ramos, Angel di Maria and Keylor Navas could entice Cristiano Ronaldo into joining PSG.
