Spiral Abyss challenge and buffs in Genshin Impact 2.2: So far, all we’ve learned

The Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact will reset in a week, bringing with it a fresh Blessing of the Abyssal Moon to aid players in overcoming the challenge.

The future adjustments to the Sprial Abyss have already been revealed in the 2.2 patch notes. The Spiral Abyss always gives forth a universal buff that applies to all floors, and the next universal buff has already been confirmed. Before the next reset, Genshin Impact players will have around two weeks to earn as many stars as they can in the abyss.

Genshin Impact 2.2 patch notes reveal the next Blessing of the Abyssal Moon

According to the patch notes, the next Blessing of the Abyssal Moon from Genshin Impact will encourage players to keep track of their energy while inside the Spiral Abyss. The universal buff should look like this:

When a character’s energy is at its maximum, they gain one Auspice stack every second for up to ten seconds. The Auspice stacks will be consumed when they use their Elemental Burst. For the next 10 seconds, the character will receive a 5% damage bonus for every Auspice stack consumed. Characters will be unable to gain more Auspice stacks when enhanced in this fashion.

The impending Spiral Abyss Blessing may have an impact on how players use their main DPS characters during the challenge. Genshin Impact players can get the boost by waiting 10 seconds instead of using bursts off cooldown.

Sub-DPS characters like Xingqiu and Xiangling, on the other hand, should profit greatly from this buff. Characters like these may only be on the field to perform their special powers, but this Blessing should boost their off-field damage significantly.

In the forthcoming Spiral Abyss, characters with high energy recovery and low burst cooldowns may be more viable. With a 40-energy burst, Zhongli, Albedo, Aloy, and others will be very powerful.

Players in the Genshin Impact have only five days to prepare any characters they choose for the upcoming Spiral Abyss. Players should design their teams in accordance with the new Blessing, as characters will be able to gain damage buffs of up to 50%.
