Because Sea of Thieves is an online game, the upgrade will require the game’s servers to be pulled offline. The Sea of Thieves gaming servers fell down around 2:30 p.m.
Today is 5 a.m. ET, which means the update is presently underway. Players have also complained about being unable to log in to the game. The maintenance should take an hour or two to complete, and gamers should be able to access the game as soon as the servers are back up and running.
Davy Jones will also be in the game, so Jack Sparrow won’t be the only popular Disney character to appear. They’ll also have to deal with new foes like phantom pirates, sirens, and the dreadful Ocean Crawlers. However, as part of the update, new weapons, gear, and other content will be added to the game.
