In the past year, the Free Fire phenomenon has shattered the Indian esports industry. While the Free Fire Continental Series Asia 2020 attracted 1.5 million peak viewers on a Hindi stream, the Free Fire World Series 2021 shattered all records by attracting 1.9 million peak viewers on a Hindi stream (the biggest ever for any single stream/language). More than 220K Peak Viewers tuned in to watch the domestic tournament Free Fire India Championship 2021. These figures have sparked a lot of interest in the West.

Within five years, according to Andy Dinh, CEO of TSM, mobile esports will have more viewers than PC.

Ryan Wyatt, Head of YouTube Gaming, said that they already do in some circumstances, citing India as an example. Andy reacted by saying that he will surely look into the possibilities.

TSM is rumored to be acquiring a Free Fire squad in India, according to a fresh leak. According to a leaked image, TSM will take over the Sixth Sense roster.

The following are the members of the Sixth Sense Free Fire roster:-

Sixth Sense just won the Free Fire Tri-Series 2021, which had a prize pool of $50,000 USD. They also came in fourth and eighth place in the FFIC 2021 and Free Fire Open, respectively. They are also invited to compete in the Free Fire Pro League 2021, which has a prize pool of $50,000 USD.

TSM’s Background:

Andy Dinh formed Team Solomid (TSM) in 2009, and it is situated in Los Angeles, California. To mention a few games, they have active rosters in League of Legends, Apex Legends, PUBG, Fortnite, and Valorant.

Through the PUBG Mobile roster, they entered the Indian market in March 2020 as part of a cooperation with Entity Gaming. The Indian government banned PUBG Mobile in September 2020, but TSM demonstrated their faith in the roster by waiting till BattleGrounds Mobile India was released.

TSM officially renamed themselves Team SoloMid FTX earlier this month after signing a 10-year branding rights agreement worth 210 million USD with Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange FTX.
