Which game is better for 1 GB RAM devices: Free Fire or Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)?

|

Battlegrounds Mobile India and Free Fire are now two of the most popular games in India. Both games require various devices and take distinct methods to gaming.

Free Fire is one of India’s most popular Battle Royale games, whereas Battlegrounds Mobile India is a localized version of PUBG Mobile.

This article analyzes these two titles to see which is the better option for low-end devices with 1 GB of RAM.

Free Fire and Battlegrounds Mobile India are compared.

Device specifications

On the Google Play Store, these games have nearly identical hardware requirements.

Mobile Battlegrounds India

According to the Google Play Store:

“The recommended system requirements for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA are Android 5.1.1 or higher and at least 2 GB RAM memory.”
Android 5.1.1 or higher is required.
2 GB of RAM (Recommended 3 GB).
Snapdragon 600 comparable or higher processor.
Size of the download: 721 MB (varies on device).

Free Fire

The file size is 710 MB. Android 4.0.3 is the operating system. 1 GB of RAM (Recommended – 2 GB). Mediatek MT6737M quad-core processor

Playing style

Battlegrounds Mobile India and Free Fire both follow the same Battle Royale formula, with players arriving on an island and fighting it out to be the last one standing.

The number of participants, on the other hand, varies. In BGMI, for example, 100 players land on an island, whereas in Free Fire, only 50 people participate.

Match duration varies as well. A single game in Free Fire takes 15 minutes to conclude, however a single game in Battlegrounds Mobile India might take up to 30 minutes.

Graphics

Free Fire has middling visual quality and less complex textures, but it runs smoothly on low-end devices with no significant lag.

Battlegrounds Mobile India’s graphics are identical to those of PUBG Mobile. It has lifelike realistic aspects that players may enjoy in UHD (Ultra-High Definition) graphics and high frame rates (up to 90 FPS) on high-end devices.

Which is the better option?

The system requirements make it apparent that BGMI requires at least 2 GB of RAM to work smoothly. As a result, it will not work with smartphones with 1 GB of RAM.

Free Fire is compatible with devices with 1 GB of RAM, however performance will decrease significantly, and players will experience a lot of latency and stuttering. Despite the fact that the game is designed for low-end smartphones, 1 GB RAM devices are not the best choice for Free Fire.
